Belo
Belo is a bank and virtual wallet registered in Argentina. You can open an account through their app in minutes, at no cost, and receive a bank account with its corresponding CVU / Alias and a debit card. It also allows you to buy, sell, and transfer Bitcoin, which is what matters here. While the process is quick, we recommend creating your account before requesting our service to avoid delays or payment issues.
1 Download the app
Start by downloading and installing the official Belo app on your phone. You can find it in the iOS or Android store under the name "belo: your financial passport", or click one of the images below:
2 Create an account
Once the app is installed, it’s time to create your account.
Registration is simple and works like any other app: just follow the on-screen instructions.
After creating your account, you will need to complete identity verification. You’ll have to take a photo of your DNI and a short video of your face. The process is automatic, the app will guide you step by step, and it usually takes just a few minutes.
Once your identity is verified, your account will be fully ready to use.
Identity verification is a legal requirement. Belo is a registered financial entity in Argentina and must comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations. Your reason for buying Bitcoin remains private. Bitcoin transactions are anonymous, and no one can know who or why you send them. Belo only checks that the funds come from an account in your name and are not stolen. This is standard procedure for any bank or wallet and does not affect your privacy.
3 Deposit pesos
Now that you have created your account and verified your identity, you need to deposit pesos into your Belo account, which you will then use to buy Bitcoin.
To make the deposit, follow these steps:
- Open the Belo app.
- Tap "Deposit".
- Select "Pesos".
- Select "Local account".
- You will see your CVU and Alias. Now open your bank’s app and make a transfer for the amount you want to deposit in Belo.
Transfers via CVU / Alias are usually instant, so you should see the money credited in your Belo account immediately.
Once the funds are in your account, you’re ready to buy Bitcoin, as explained in the next step.
4 Buy Bitcoin
To buy Bitcoin with the pesos in your Belo account, follow these steps:
- Open the Belo app.
- Tap "Swap".
- In "I want to swap", enter the amount of pesos you want to exchange for Bitcoin, or tap "Use all" to exchange all available pesos.
- In "I will receive", make sure the selected currency is "BTC", i.e., Bitcoin.
- Tap "Continue".
- Tap "Swap" to confirm the operation.
Congratulations! You have successfully purchased Bitcoin.
5 Make payment
If you have reached this point, you have already purchased Bitcoin and it is in your Belo account. You can leave it there until it’s time to pay for our service.
When it’s time to pay, you just need to transfer the Bitcoins from your Belo account to our Bitcoin address.
If you already have an order with us, you will find our address in the Order Tracking section. If you don’t have an order yet, you can contact us to request our address.
To make the transfer, follow these steps:
- Open the Belo app.
- Tap "Transfer".
- Select "To a new contact".
- Select "Cryptocurrencies".
- You will see a list of cryptocurrencies. Select Bitcoin, which appears as "BTC".
- Enter our Bitcoin address.
- Verify everything is correct and confirm the operation.
